24 July 2011 The Nottingham Outlaw Ironman Triathlon

On the 24 July, Charlie Bell undertook the Outlaw Ironman in Nottingham. It consisted of a 2.4 mile open water swim, a 112 mile cycle and a full 26.2 mile marathon. This unbelievably tough challenge took 13 hours, no average day, but Charlie was very happy to be able to call himself an 'Ironman' by the end! A huge thank you to Charlie for all his hardwork during the event, before in training for this epic event and, on top of this, raising so much for the Trust.

We would love to hear from you if you know of any soldier (whether current or past), family member or any project that might benefit from our help.
