Walking with the Wounded "First Steps"

DDMT is immensely proud to have provided a commitment of £15,000 funding, over the next three years, for the "First Steps" programme which addresses the needs of ex-service personnel suffering with mental injuries and then, following therapy, assists veterans into the "First Steps" employment programme.  DDMT's first cheque was sent recently and is hopefully boosting those veterans such as Stewart Hill, below, currently on the Walking with the Wounded "Walk of Britain" to raise more money and awareness of this amazing charity.

Since 2013 many successful employment outcomes for veterans have been achieved including electricians, plumbers, teachers, nurses, landscape gardeners, prosthetic specialists, equine therapists  and specialist dog handlers and an artist.

DDMT is delighted to be able to support this vital work.

We would love to hear from you if you know of any soldier (whether current or past), family member or any project that might benefit from our help.
