Doors opened at 7.15 on 11 April at the Swinley Forest Golf Club for the 2017 Annual DDMT Golf Day. There was a full house (19 fourballs) and Swinley was in phenomenol condition for what was a tremendous day - a wonderful opportunity to remember Dougie and see old friends.
The tournament was played by 76 players over 18 holes. Players were put into 38 pre-allocated groups of 2 within their fourball. The best stapleford score on each hole was used to create a team score and the best team score won the Silver Salver.
And the winners were:
1st Place and winners of the 2017 DDMT Silver Salver - Anthony Dalzell and Jacqui Broderick (52 points)
2nd Place - George Tye and Tom Davies (49 points)
3rd Place - Willie Wise and Robert Ward Jones (46 points)
