Gilly Halcrow's latest talk topic on the Shetland Bus has been drawing crowds and receiving tremendous feedback. The latest email from the Chairman of the Hartfield Historical Society reads as follows:
"I was just downloading your talk for a second listen when I thought I must drop you a quick line to congratulate you on another fascinating story which was entirely new to me. As I said an extraordinary piece of research and wonderfully illustrated which is so important these days when attention span is probably the shortest it has ever been - well at least for the young!"
" Your talks always draw a great audience and I love the way people stay on and chat afterwards which is a good sign that they feel comfortable and have had a good evening".
We would love to hear from you if you know of any soldier (whether current or past), family member or any project that might benefit from our help.
